Five Nabbed At Long Island Stores Selling THC, Pot, Police Say
Five people were nabbed for allegedly selling THC and pot at several businesses on Long Island.
The busts took place throughout Nassau County on Tuesday, May 24 as part of multiple investigations.
According to the Nassau County, the investigations found that THC was being sold at the following locations:
Eastwind Exotic Vape Shop, 27 Jackson Avenue, Syosset.
Saleh Mohammed Salem, age 25, New Hyde Park,
Shaafal Nasser Ali Ahmed, age 41, of Brooklyn, were arrested.
In addition to THC, agents seized a large quantity of marijuana.

A Bensalem man was arrested last week in a drug bust, authorities said.
Police and FBI agents discovered 26 pounds of marijuana, THC, Psilocybin (mushroom) edibles, drug trafficking materials, and more during a warranted search at a home on Konefal Street on Monday, March 2, Bensalem police said.
Authorities also seized around $21,000 in cash, a Yamaha motorcycle valued at approximately $7,000 and a Rolex watch valued at $44,000, they said.
The estimated value of the recovered drugs is more than $70,000, police said.

Police seized more than 25 pounds of marijuana and other drugs while responding to a disturbance at a Long Island home.
The Nassau County Police seized more than 25 pounds of marijuana, 1,000 cartridges containing THC, 28 hallucinogenic mushroom candy bars, and 3 THC candy bars from a Wantagh man on Wednesday, Nov. 17, after officers responded to a disturbance at his home, the department said.
Anthony Salina, age 38, was also in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun and $31,000 in cash and was arrested on multiple charges.

NY State Driver Busted In Bergen With THC Dessert Assortment, Infused Soap, Police Say
A New York State driver had an illegal assortment of THC-infused desserts – cookies, muffins, brownies, chocolate bars and lollipops, among them – when Lyndhurst police said they arrested him.
Hovadis Maracallo, 39, Middletown, was behind the wheel of a Honda SUV parked on a dimly lit stretch of Lafayette Avenue when Officer Mark Rivera rolled up around 10 p.m. Saturday, Detective Lt. Vincent Auteri said.
Seeing the officer, Maracallo drove off, then turned without signaling, Auteri said.
